Hey, I'm just wondering if any non-EU citizens here have ever tried to get a 'professional card for foriegners' in Belgium for the purposes of teaching English?

If you check with the embassy, you'll find that they have a list of jobs that qualify for this card.

In the past, 'English teacher' was NOT on the list - it's basically for professionals in fields where there is a lack of expertise in-country. But it might be worth checking for current info. It should be easy to find.

Like most countries in Northern Europe, Belgium has no need to import non-EU foreigners to teach English.
