|

Bom Dia,
I'm starting a CELTA course in Lisbon next year, but was wondering....
I finish University in the end of May and hope to be out in Portugual by July, where I will do the course for a month. THEN, I want to find employment (in August, Sept, etc). I think that the portuguese terms start in october, so my question is; if the new terms start in october, is there a much higher chance of getting employment in june/july than there is in august/sept?
Basically, when is the best time to look for employment there?
Any help whatsoever would be great,
Cheers,
Graham |

I will be heading out to Lisbon in 2005, by the way, not this year.
So you think I should apply for jobs before I even have my CELTA qualification, around March, April, May time nxt year? |

Sorry, I didn't read your original posting carefully (lack of caffeine on my part).
Schools begin recruitment around May, but as you'll be there in person you might be able to find work in August. Your course provider should be able to give you good advice regarding recruitment. |
