I am planning to come to Cali sometime this summer. Earliest I can come would be June 18th. I would prefer to come in early July so that I have a little more time to wrap things up at home before I leave but I'm not sure if that is too late to find a job. I have an MA in Education specializing in teaching ESL along with four years of teaching experience. I'm hoping to find a job at a colegio or University. Does anyone have any insight into when most of the hiring gets done? Is it essential for me to be there as early as possible in June or would I be ok if I come in early July? I know its only a couple weeks difference but I'm nervous about coming too late and not being able to find anything. |

I think the colleges and international schools start the new semester around August, so you are probably going to have time to sort yourself out! |

The earlier you come, the better. Hiring will probably start in June, though will continue through July. |
