I have had an interview with Haileybury school in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It went well, and they said they will get back to me in the next few days.
They seem to be quite a good school, with modern resources.
Anyone know anything about them or even about living there.
I applied for this job on a whim as it is part of COBIS. |

yes i worked there as a language trainer many years ago just after it opened up to the west the beauty of the city and the ladies there took my breath away
but that was then and this is now Almaty as it is now called has been fully westernised and even plays in the EUFA qualifying groups...you would need at least 3,000 euros a month to live there now it is a hot spot in the stans with oil and gas riches
the past is another country |
