From what I understand, if your degree certificate has the word 'English' printed on it then you're good to go. Of course, this being Indonesia, things aren't usually so black and white, but I'd say you've got a better chance than most. Check with individual schools and see what they say - drop an email to Wall Street even if you don't intend to apply there. As stated elsewhere, they seem to be the only ones doing things completely by the book so their answer may be more reliable or trustworthy than from elsewhere. |

A minor in English, I'm afraid, won't cut it. The government is asking to see the actual degree you have and if it doesn't say 'English' somewhere on it, then they ask to see the transcripts. If the majority of your classes are not in English, then it's a no-go. This is the response that Wall Street gives.
You could try your luck at schools other than Wall Street though as many are still brininging on teachers with or without the correct degree (or degree at all in some cases). Any time you go outside of the law though, I'd say you're making a small gamble...
