Hi
I've been having trouble finding any volunteer teaching projects in the Midlands area. I was looking for teaching opportunities on free classes for immigrants or something like that. Any ideas?
Thanks |

You could contact Brasshouse Language Centre
50 Sheepcote Street
Birmingham
B16 8AJ

e-mail : [email protected]
This is the largest adult education centre in the UK. I have taught several CELTA courses there, and they always seemed to be keen to get volunteers to teach asylum seekers/immigrants.
Worth a try? |

Great! Thanks. I'm actually applying to do my CELTA there in January. I'll get onto them. |

I tried contacting them and was referred to the Birmingham city council website. Same goes for every college I apply to in Birmingham. Not being able to contact directly is really frustrating.
