Are you looking at them to work in their small language academy or as an agency to send you out to other schools?
If you have a degree, Canadian passport, white face and a pulse you can do better just by being on the ground in Thailand. Get a 60-day double entry tourist visa from the consulate in Canada and buy a plane ticket. Salaries for native speaking, degree holders start at about 20% higher than they offer.
If you do not have a degree then illegal work at/with an agency is likely the best you can get if they are willing to take you on.

This of it this way...they need you more than you need them as they pay peanuts! Good luck in your search in the LOS |
