Hi again.
It was my plan to spend ages in the UK doing a semi-intensive CELTA and then go over to Spain at an awful time of year. This is now not looking so good due to the amount of time living with family and not having an income. Was talking to my Spanish teacher about what I should do and she seemed to think that my native English, degree from good university and 6 years kids teaching experience would be more than enough to start with. Baring in mind that she has spent years teaching English herself in northern Spain and knows the industry inside-out. What I was thinking of now was reverting to an older plan to go over there, hope that I can get a job and then do a CELTA part-time over several months between work. Does this sound realistic? |

Absolutely it does. In English teaching, experience is what employers almost always value above qualifications here. You've got a degree anyway. I've got no doubt that you'll find work in no time.
Which area of Spain were you looking at moving to? |

Well, I was gonna start out in Barcelona because I want to do my CELTA there and there are more jobs around. Really I'd like to be in a smaller city somewhere else up north. |
