Is my employer responsible for providing this? I'm applying for a job and on the check list of documents they ask for it, but surely they are the ones who would provide it if I'm given a job offer |

They should provide the documents of your employment for you to register with IMSS and set up the payroll deductions for being on the system. |

What exactly are they asking for. I am not sure what "it" is. Are they asking you for an IMSS pink slip? If so, you would only have this once you have been previously enrolled. If not, you won't. And, yes, by law, this is one of the benefits that is provided. |
