Do I have a chance in UAE, specifically Dubai?

Marital status: married eight years; wife has her M.A. in English literature
Education:
B.A. in English, University of Nevada (1996)
M.ED. in post-secondary TESOL, University of Nevada (2001)

B.A. in Spanish with a minor in French, Arizona State University (2005)
M.A. in Spanish, Arizona State University (2012)

Experience:
March to October 1997: Hogwan in Seoul, South Korea.
Autumn 1998: volunteer ESL teacher at Union Settlement, NYC.
Spring 2000: internship at Rio Casino as ESL teacher to employees.
October 2000-June 2003: private language academy in Paris, France. Taught EFL to executives.
Autumn 2003: ESL instructor at a community college in Chicago.
Spring 2007: English and Spanish teacher at a charter school.
July 2007-May 2008: Spanish teacher at a secondary school.
August 2008 - May 2012: full-time Spanish teaching assistant at Arizona State University. Taught Spanish to lower-division students.
August 2011-present: adjunct instructor of ESL and English at a community college.

Languages: fluent French, fluent Spanish, reading knowledge of Portuguese and Italian.

I don't have a Ph.D. and I don't have publications. Do I stand a chance? I am aiming for a job teaching adults at around US$4,000 per month and accommodation provided.

You realize that you are way late for this coming semester. The teachers are already arriving. The UAE is not Saudi.

In the UAE there are no recruiters. If you do not find an ad somewhere, got to each university's website and go to the employment section where they will list current openings and you normally apply through their website... and then you wait... and wait... and wait... to see if you get a bite.

Do not restrict yourself to Dubai. Abu Dhabi, Al-Ain, Sharjah, and Ras al Khaima are all better places to live than the Saudi options that you were getting. Applications now will likely go for next January starts.

Spend a few hours reading this branch and you will learn the good and bad about most of the employers.

Be sure to take the advice from the Saudi board and emphasize your ESL/EFL experience and downplay the Spanish.
