Has anyone got any advice on what VPN would be good to use in China.
Off to live and work in China next week and I would like a VPN so that i can access facebook and also BBC iplayer.
Another EFL site recommends Atrill, but internet searches reveal lots of negative comments
Any advice?
Thanks

I also am going to China next week, and am looking for a VPN. strongvpn is 85 dollars for a year. I had hoped to find something that was cheaper. But, if that is the best one,I will get it. Any others?

Witopia, $60/year. You won't find one any cheaper that works as well as this one does.

Thank you. Am I right in assuming that I would need one to watch shows on HULU, and to download movies?

You can download movies or anything else you want from any torrent site without a VPN.

I used the free ad-driven Hotspot Shield for a few months but found that it was too slow (probably because their ads suck up bandwidth). After a lot of shopping around I settled on strongvpn, which I use now. I'm very happy with the service.
