I guess that's a weird question. But I'm going to be moving to Bahrain the end of September and I wonder how expats meet friends? I've heard of the "Social clubs", but can't find too much information on it.
Who lives there now and is happy and can give me some advice?
I'm not shy at all. And I wonder if there is an amateur actors group or... other random interest groups to meet new people.

| Everyone whom I've met who taught in that corner of the world was unhappy, but I have met non-teachers who had a blast. It is entirely possible that the social network is offline, so nobody knows. |
