Hi all,

I'm looking for interviewees for a piece I'm writing on the teaching business in Japan. If you have a story and want to contribute I'd like to hear from you. The kind of people I need:

Old timers - anyone who's been here 20 years or more
College teachers - especially those who started in Eikaiwa
Tenured professors
Boards of education teachers
JET teachers - present or former
ALTs for dispatch agencies - pres or former
NOVA teachers - especially those who were present at the 2007 collapse
GEOS - especially the refugees again
Berlitz - especially if you have knowledge of the labor disputes
Aeon - especially if you have juicy gossip: they look squeaky clean
Any Head Instructors or Managers
Own Your Own School?
Women - whatever unique perspective/experience it brings
Survivors - anyone who's done the rounds, been laid off, etc and is still around to talk about it or went home to a better life. Anyone who has been scammed by employers over pay, insurance or anything else.

Anonymity will be protected, in fact you can even hide your identity from me if you like. If you're in Hokkaido there may be a chance we can meet face to face. If in Honshu I might be able to see you next time I'm in Tokyo or Osaka. For the most part though, email and possibly skype will suffice.

Please PM me and we'll take it from there.
