I saw the ad currently offering work for Language Solutions in Zawia and Tripoli. No rotation and pathetic pay. 27K is not enough and let me explain why. I once worked in Mellitah next to Zawia. There is nothing in Zawia and it was damaged in the war. Tripoli is doing much better but there is still a need to take care if you are Libyan, let alone a westerner. The pay is insulting and the lack of holidays truly astonishing given the living conditions. I currently work in Libya. Ask for more money and a rotation.

That's beyond what is reasonable but it's like the paedophile riots in Portsmouth when two paediatricians got beaten up by a mob-someone probably said the colonel had been seen at the KFC.

So Benghazi is not safe but Tripoli is?
I assume you are not near Benghazi.

Safe is relative. I've been in both cities recently. Libyans are worried about security-that's for sure.

The KFC that was trashed was in Tripoli LEBANON not Libya.
There are two Tripoli's. There is no KFC or McDonald's in Libya.

Yup that one too. It's nothing to do with a movie or cartoon, it's all to do with quality of fries and coleslaw and whether or not you get a complimentary smurf with your bonus points.
