Hi me again, didn't know that a spelling mistake could put you guys in such a spin let alone get a thread locked so fast!
Anyway, this is the guy who is allegedly the one who made the naughty film that is responsible for all this phobia thingy (sorry can't spell that other word yet)
Apparently in Pakistan a minister is going on record saying that he will pay the sum of 100,000 dollars for this guy to be murdered.
Now if that kind of thing doesn't increase the rise of Islamaphobia(yippee cracked it) don't know what will!
So is it the end of civilization as we know it?
Btw: sorry bout the last post, in a rush, you know how it happens only human n that! |

I think poor old Theo Van Gogh lasted about a couple of months after his film was broadcast. He didn't have a bounty on his head but that didn't matter. Ayaan Hirsi Ali is still in hiding.
You'd think "Sam Bacile" would've done a better job of setting up a series of aliases if Nakoula Basseley Nakoula is really his name. He's sure put a lot of people's lives on the line over this. |

I do find it interesting that although the Government in Pakistan has distanced themselves from this ministers comments, he still has a job there. How long would someone stay in office in a "civilized country" if they has done the same thing? |

And more fuel for the fire: Anti-"Jihad" posters in NY subways:
"The MTA initially rejected the provocative posters--which read, "In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man. Support Israel. Defeat Jihad"-- but a federal judge ruled the campaign was protected by First Amendment rights, forcing the MTA to reverse its decision.
The ads are financed by the American Freedom Defense Initiative. Executive director Pamela Geller dismissed fears the posters could stir acts of violence similar to protests seen in response to the film "Innocence of Muslims."
"Im appalled at the fact they can use the term savage so easily, categorize the whole Muslim world under the word savage,'" a subway rider told The Post. "Its disheartening something like this would actually go up."

Dear Cool Teacher,
That train left the station a few days back:
"Pakistan protests against anti-Islam film leave 19 dead."
So far, five alleged "links" to the film "Innocence of Muslims" have shown up in my Spam folder.
Regards,
John |
