hmmmm
wondered what u think about this company.
looking for staff, offer NICE salary and conditions, then
ask to submit extrapolated lesson plans,
then criticize them , but
say i am ok
then
say they cant afford to phone me for an interview???

this is their latest email:
Dear Mark,
As promised, I would like to arrange for a short oral interview with you by
telephone.

You may call our offices in Prague from Monday to Friday, 08h30-
17h30. Please remember that Prague is + 0100 GMT, so allow for the time
difference. Our number is +420 224 947 600. Ask for me, Roderick Lambert.
Feel free to ask any questions via email to minimise the length of the call.
Unfortunately, due to the volume of applicants we are unable to make the
call ourselves.

If you would be free to make the call next week, this would be ideal.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely,

Roderick Lambert
Director of Studies

The job market's fairly well saturated in Prague these days.
They've got applicants standing in line on the sidewalks who are actually in the city and on call, and they're unwilling to risk spending money on a potential (though perhaps better qualified) applicant who may or may not actually show up.

Ok, my previous post is a bit of an exaggeration, but there's truth in it. (Forgive me, it's late at night in my current time zone)
The phone call may just be a test of your commitment to the potential job, though, as they really will have lots of on-site applicants. Channel Crossings has been around a reasonably long time - I don't know much about it personally other than that fact -there are more than 65 language schools in the city these days.
