I haven't seen many ads pop up for positions in Uganda. It looks like this place was either recently built or is still being built:

Has anyone here actually worked in Uganda before? A quick search on here didn't turn up many results.

hi I worked in Togo for 2 years both EFL and early years at international schools. My advice is visit the Uganda first, make some connections and listen to the word on the street. There's very little reliable information about working in Africa on the web and in my experience you need to physically doorstep to find work. With paper copies of your CV.

This school is offering very good starting salaries for East Africa...seems like quite a very good EFL opportunity. Several of my EFL colleagues are heading there as they have received immediate offers from this school and their other branches.

They are happily settled...and more are coming to Libya and Uganda

They aren't coming to Libya as all the airports are shut and Tripoli International no longer has a control tower as of yesterday as a 'Grad' rocket demolished it.

Indeed very good starting salaries are being offered in this part of Africa....many people coming here to teach nowadays.

So I am interested. How is working at Galaxy? Is it everything you've dreamed of or a scam?

This school is hiring a lot of EFL teachers come September 2015...starting salary is USD 1,700/Month one can save most of his salary as cost of living is cheap in Kampala.
