Oooh, the first of November. Just in time for winter!
You're going to Moscow, yes? Have any idea where your digs are? |

Three more days until I fly. I'm excited about the move, and terrified about starting teaching. Think happy thoughts... |

Although you haven't made any mention of it, I'm assuming you don't speak Russian.
Do yourself a favor and get your school to connect you with some basic Russian lessons ASAP.
There is all but no English in Russia. To survive in Russia for any length of time and with any kind of pleasure and satisfaction, you must absolutely speak at least some small conversational Russian. Fast.
Three days. Good luck to you.
--stay away from the hookers
--eat your soup
--go to the theatres
--learn to love mittens
--always carry kleenxes in your pocket
It's good. |

I've been doing the Pimsleur course for about a month. So I've got some basics. |

Everyone does. And if they didn't, they'd soon learn to... |

We all love Sasha, some of us just don't like to admit to it in public. |
