You may have noticed the listing for a spring English camp on the job board on this site. I've been offered a position with a 20-day contract and everything seems legitimate. At the same time, I've read some bad things about the camp from back in 2009. I'm just wondering if anyone here has worked for them or knows anything specific?

My details: I'm 23 and a US citizen. I've worked at a similar camp in Korea, but it was run by a provincial government. I'm not looking to make much money, just want some more teaching experience and the opportunity to stay and travel in Taiwan cheaply.

Thanks.

I'm considering the same. Hopefully someone will respond!

This camp is illegal. Working without a work permit in Taiwan can lead to deportation. So tread carefully.

I was offered the position and have accepted it. I'm only going to be there from 1/18-2/12. Is it still really risky, even though I'll only be there a short time?
