My number one - which I always get visitors to bring with them is DECENT TEA. "Rabea" is my choice. The populace of Ukania seem to have gone over to using teabags and if you can find loose tea here it is inferior stuff.

Damn heathens ! Infidels ! Walalhi, I tell you......................................................................................................................................... (Just make up the rest as boring old ex-Saudi hand reminisces about his Golden Years in the Hejaz.)

ah poor fellow...life is a series of never ending changes and adapting to these changes...

I am sure in time, like so many other (big and small) changes 'we' go through in our daily lives, that YOU too will eventually learn to live with the inferior brands of tea within your region. Laughing

You can't find decent tea in UK? Are you mad?!

I bring tea FROM UK to Saudi every summer Laughing

Some good brands:

Marks & Spencer
Dragonfly Teas http://www.dragonfly-teas.com
Yorkshire Tea http://www.yorkshiretea.co.uk
Whittard http://www.whittard.co.uk/tea
Harrods http://www.harrods.com/food-and-wine/tea-and-coffee/view-all

Most have loose leaf as well.
