The situation is like this:

Even though I am from the USA since I hold Permanent Resident Status in the Philippines I was able to get all the necessary work done at the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines to teach at the university I am at now (August 2012 to July 2013) in China.

Say I want to teach at another university in China for August/September 2013 what are all the necessary steps I have to do to see this happen?

Thanks

Another medical medical exam and a new FEC and resident permit before the current RP expires.

your old school must cancel your FEC
and they must provide you with a release letter.

your new school will typically
apply for your new FEC
take you to get a medical
sign the contract
apply for the visa

You won't need a new visa if you get a new resident permit before the old one expires.
