Completely depends on the location and what you want. There�s various places that have lots of large rooms with bathrooms (shared kitchen) for foreigners on a monthly basis (no deposit and no fixed term contract) for around $150 a month. If you want an actual apartment it�s very unlikely to find one without having to sign for a year with deposit. It would probably work out cheaper to get a two-bedroom and share the rent (something decent can be got for about $300 - $400 per month in a nice-ish area and furnished.) |

Hey, watching this thread with interest, can you give some pointers on where to find these 150 dollar sublets?
I'm pushing 40 though, not sure I want to room with a mob of fresh out of college kids. Any thoughts on this issue? |
