Hmmm. Alexander Isayevich was many things, but pseudo was not one of them. Perhaps if we had more than just three words to work with, we'd know more what was meant?

Dear geaaronson,

Ah, but people are so much more complicated than black and white - or even pink Very Happy

Is the poster really a "pseudo?" One might suppose so, seeing as he's clearly playing it for laughs (or at least smiles.)

But I don't know - I have the suspicion that deep down, under the (so to speak) "pseudo pseudo," the poster harbors a real sympathy for, at least, the ideals of communism.

Could be wrong, though Confused

Regards,
John

Directing comments at the messenger, not the message, eh? Typical Trotskyite maneouvering...

Now, let's get back to the 50-year anniversary of Ivan Denisovich. You all should like its anti-Soviet rhetoric, hic!

I preferred "The Case of Comrade Tulayev" by Viktor Serge.

Fair enough. Some people prefer Kolyma Tales by Varlam Shalamov. Others Faithful Ruslan by Georgi Vladimov. Really doesn't matter as it is all subversive literature and anyone caught in possession of, or found circulating such dissident material, either in original or samizdat form, will be shipped off east, where they might find they do not have the time for such pernicious fabrications and slanders against the Motherland who nourishes them.

Yes, johnslat

I`m trying to flush the man out. Or flesh him out and see whether it`s anything other than vodka that makes him tick.

You`re guess is mine as well.

Commie Joke

What would happen if you brought a Soviet 5 year plan to the Sahara Desert?
Answer- You wouldn`t have any sand left. JEJEJEJEJEJEJE

The Soviets always did have the best jokes. Also, the best songs.
I still laugh at the wisdom of the Chuckcha and cry at the Soviet national anthem.

Which doesn't make me any less of a capitalist, imperialist, Yanqui pig-dog propagandist for the counterrevolution, I sincerely hope. Wink
