Is it worth gaining the experience in order to work at an international school? Also is a BS good enough or should I work on a masters beforehand?

Getting onto the international school circuit can earn you a subsidized master's while working if you ask about this while job hunting. My girlfriend is a licensed Ontario, Canada teacher having come down with a BeD and is now working on her second master's through her school in Mexico City. There are good employment tracks out there if you look.

Right! There are too many other places a professional TEFLer could go to in order to teach.
