Hi to all,

I'm looking for someone to engage in a short interview in relation to use of mobile technologies such as iPad, iPhone, Blackberry, ordinary mobile phones or other types of mobile (hand-held) devices in the classroom. My interest is in connecting with an educator who has actually used mobile technologies as well as Web 2.0 tools in the classroom.

I've posted a similar message in the Technology forum and I'm also posting here because I'm in the UAE and I would like to connect with educators who use technology in the classroom that are also in the UAE. Please PM me if you are interested.

Thanks,
GDawg

Hi, you can contact me if you wish. I am at a large Canadian university and we work with and deploy these sorts of technologies at the higher education level -- primarily at the under graduate course levels. The success (or failure) is dependent on how your institution is organized, who the faculty are and what the course is; some are more eager to deploy it than others and some just see it as a fad which will go away and be replaced with something else.
