My favorite piece of music: The Ode to Joy:

On the 130th anniversary of the founding of Banco Sabadell we wanted to pay homage to our city by means of the campaign "Som Sabadell" (We are Sabadell) . This is the flashmob that we arranged as a final culmination with the participation of 100 people from the Valls Symphony Orchestra, the Lieder, Amics de l'pera and Coral Belles Arts choirs.

A peaceful, happy winter holiday season to everyone (ideally free from marking or lesson planning!), and all the best for 2013!

Wonderful, John. There's nothing better than watching and listening to people making music like that together - not for me there isn't anyway.

Happy Holidays to those who have them. Here's to a successful 2013 as the world seems to have survived another day!

A peaceful and prosperous Christmas to everyone (including Sasha who has another two weeks to wait!). Life may not be what we want it to be but it is what it is, so live it to the full. xx

True it is another couple of weeks for Christmas in Russia. But here is a carol to enjoy in the meantime:
