Hi!
I've taught previously at training schools and at Universities...but this will be the first time I've taught in Chengdu, and I'd like to try teaching at public schools. From what i gather, pay will probably be less (like at Universities), but hours will be during the day with weekends off (along with holidays).
How does one go about getting these jobs? There doesn't seem to be any job ads for them online. Is it a situation where you've got to simply show up and hope to find them?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks! |

Watch for split days with mornings at one campus and afternoons somewhere else.
Unlikely you will be paid for the commute.
If you're in the 5 to 6K pm/20 hours pw market in a uni or vocational, my question is: Why change" |

Im open to Universities, but there's not much of that in the city of CHengdu without getting bussed out to some Development Zone.
I want evenings and weekends off to work on something else...and then get national holidays off, too. Im ok with 5k a month.
Thanks for the response. Anyone else know if there is a way to contact public schools or public school recruiters for public school jobs in Chengdu? |
