Any Irish citizens in Spain ever had to prove they are in a common law relationship (living together but not married) to a non-EU citizen.

I am Irish and in such a relationship with a Canadian and need to prove our relationship so she can become a resident and live and work here.

I have heard that I need to get a paper stating that I am single from my national govt. Any ideas what that is?

Thanks in advance.
