Seventy years ago a blow was struck by the valorous freedom-loving peoples of the Great Soviet Union against the evil Fascist beast. The name of the heroic city of Stalingrad rings out once more!

The Central Committee would like to extend its especially warm greetings to Scot47 and express gratitude that he has also suitably marked this solemn occasion.

I met several old people who had survived the seige. Their stories were of horrific events.
