Based on what I've heard it is easier to find jobs outside of Taipei and easier to save money because the cost of living is lower outside of Taipei. What resources do you recommend I use to find jobs outside of Taipie? Most of the posting on tealit seem to be in the Taipei area.

There are Yahoo groups for most of the major cities, Tainan, Kaohsiung, etc. Jobs are regularly posted there - both permanent jobs and opportunities to fill-in (substitute) for teachers who may be going out of town, etc. Best of luck.
