If you haven't heard the news, catch it on the latest edition of The Colbert Report. I don't usually watch Colbert because I find him kind of annoying but he did a great job on this one. Sorry don't want to say more here because religion is a touchy subject with some.

Whatever he did, resigned or abdicated, the next one will be the last. According to The Prophecy, Peter will be his name and he will lead the people through great tribulations....!!!!!!

He'd better! After Y2K and the end of the baktun passed without notice, I'm starting to wonder if the doomsday bunker in Nebraska was really such a sound investment.

I know, right? I'm so stoked for the apocalypse and time and again it's just fail....fail...fail! It's like, get on with it already.

Adios, Rat-zinger! What can I say, I am Catholic, but not at all unhappy to see him go. Here in Mexico he was barely a blip on the radar, when compared to John Paul, whose photo is still everywhere, as if Rat-zinger didnt exist.

In Scotland much discussion this week after the Cardinal for this locale resigned. Allegations of "inappropriate behaviour" levelled at him by priests.
