Agreed.

Many of these posters respond to inquiries at length. They don't have to do this. They are doing the inquisitors a huge favor in responding to posts at length and really are giving solid advice. Heck, if they were lawyers, they'd be charging you serious coin for this advice. You're getting it for free.

I have lived in Japan for five years and I have found the advice given by Glenski, pitarou, etc. only to be spot on. Far from "twaddle" actually.

I think curt and snide responses are uncalled for and am dismayed and disappointed by the responses that I have seen on the Japan boards as of late. Such responses are getting tiresome.

Give it a rest boys and be a bit more appreciative and show some graciousness. In the end you'll look better and come across as less of a ****.
