and you just joined April 30, 2010 with a total of 4 posts? hmm, this is a bit ...... Confused

I checked the forum for about two years before I finally registered. Of course I was in college and not likely to be heading out anytime soon.

S/he could also have just forgotten their password and stopped using that particular email.

I read for a while before I joined as well. I don't post as I don't care for the snide unhelpful responses either. I've seen attacks on spelling, the use of slang or supposedly incorrecting spelling on one's user name. Really helpful and necessary!

Some have been really great in reponding to me.

Even AFTER I joined I forgot my password and had trouble signing in and had to view anonymously, so there's no correlation between when a person joined (or their posting history) and how many times they've viewed pages on the forum. I agree with the person's original point that we need to support each other more in this field. It's incredibly stressful to move halfway around the world on a wing and a prayer, so any help is appreciated. Cheers.

There are 2 very active Facebook groups for English teachers in Istanbul.. the Blacklist and the Greenlist.

Search for them on FB.
Updated many times per day...
