|
|
I know in France that the government mandates companies spend a certain amount on employee training which frequently means money is spent on private language schools.
Does anyone know if Belgium has similar regulations? Is the ESL market in Belgium comparable to that of France or is it worse? Thanks. (Working rights are not an issue.) |

Market in Belgium is tiny and poorly paid.
I lived/worked just over the border in Netherlands for some years and we consistently had teachers trying to make the move out of Belgium due to little work and very low pay as compared to cost of living. |

Put Benelux on the same list as Scandinavia. No jobs foir EFLers. The con-men who sold you that TESOL Cert may have told you that the "World is Your Oyster". Snake-oil salesmen. Get out that map of the Middle East. |

I worked in Benelux for 8 years (so far, may return). But it took more than a BA + TEFL cert. |
