I have been considered for a job in Henan province, in a technical institute., I got some good feedback from a teacher who had worked there in the past, and I thought about going. I was told I'd have to get a full medical examination in my country to get a Z-visa, and do the same medical procedure in China! I went through this in 2010. The problem is that the procedure will cost an absolute fortune. I said so. The school then suggested I come to China on a tourist visa, get the medical done in Zhengzhou, Henan, then go for a z-visa in Hong Kong. Is that still possible? Is it possible if I will be working in Henan Province?
I have told the school I may be best to wait and start work with them in September when i HAVE MORE MONEY.
Does anybody know if Henan's psb would let me change my visa this way? |

I've no idea of the current situation in Henan, but it doesn't matter WHICH province you're in. The way things are being done in March this year is totally irrelevant to what will be happening in September. Regulations and their interpretation can - and amazingly frequently do - change overnight. They can also vary wildly depending on what the government of your passport country has been doing (such as welcoming the D@l@i L@m@), and even from one branch of the PSB to another in the same city (personal experience speaking!). |
