|
Hello, My wife and I along with her sister are heading to Ko-Chang for a short holiday and are thinking about staying on white beach and lonely beach. I've heard lots of people recomend hua-hin but we're looking at staying off the well travelled path of most tourists that visit there. Does anyone have and suggestions on places to stay, the best beaches and the best diving? Cheers |

My info is a few years out of date, but I have to say that I loved Ko Chang. Quiet and laid-back, with good food, but only so-so snorkelling. You used to be able to go out on boats for more interesting snorkelling, but I don't know which beaches the boats left from. Whitesands was one of the busier beaches, and has a lot of restaurants and huts. At the far end is Magic beach (not sure if it's still called that) which was much less populated, but still had good food.
Of all the beach places I've been to in Asia, I would rate Ko Chang the highest. Waking up to the sound of waves did it for me.
Hope it hasn't changed too much... |
