A post in the General Discussions forum made me wander over to the Job Information section and while I was there, I had a look at the information on Spain. Does anyone else read this stuff? It's brilliant! (Maybe not in the way it was intended) If only we could get people posting that kind of stuff in here... |

Mouse,
Two things..
1. I'm surprised at you! Checking out the rantings of some misogynist crank were we?? Do you chase ambulances as well?
2. If people posted stuff about living and working in Spain, where would we go to talk about important things, like movies and chocolate??
Hmmm??
Have a day,
Lozwich. |

You know, Mouse, I've always found the JIJ kind of useless.
There's so much information there, and no easy way to sort through it - anyway all the posts seem to fall into two categories: either, "This place rules," or "This place sucks."
I'm glad I didn't consult it before landing here in China! There were a few negative posts about my school, and after a term here I've seen much of it to be unfounded. So you can never really tell whether you're reading an honest appraisal of working conditions, or the rantings of a disgruntled former employee.
Anyway I think there's something to be said for the colorful personalities who post in these forums, and the curious things they talk about! As loz asks, where would we go for our movies and chocolate? |
