It looks like my Filipina wife might be getting a teaching position in a public school in NZ.
Can I legally work in NZ as well? I am from the USA.
Thanks |

If your wife is entering on a work visa (she'll be granted a work permit upon arrival when she goes through immigration) then you will be entering on a dependent visa. Your wife's visa/permit will be tied to the sponsoring employer. As a dependent, you will have no such restrictions and you'll be able to be hired by any employer that wants to take you on. Have a look at the blue sticker in your passport if you have already applied for and received your visas. All is revealed there.
So the answer to your question is yes. |

During my own migration experience, I found the New Zealand Immigration website pretty clear and comprehensive. I used the search function and came across this page, which seems to cover your query - and includes an application form.
