I heard a rumor to that effect but wasn't sure if this was true. Anyone know for certain?

Many thanks,
RT

yes, they lost their contract. F wrote a letter saying that it was a budget issue with the Royal Commission but everyone with any sense knows that is a BIG LIE. The Royal Commission is building new buildings for instruction and for residences as well as renovating existing buildings. They have money..... he must think we are all stupid. But I guess the real stupidity lies within McGill because for some reason they seem to be trusting and believing everything he says and not questioning why this all really happened. There is only one person to blame who destroyed the relationship between McGill and the Royal Commission and that is Mr. F and his group of stooges. This certainly puts a huge blemish on the CV of McGill when it comes to getting other contracts such as this. I guess McGill Continuing Education Department will have to find another way to stay afloat as the big money from Jubail will not be rolling in any more. The Dean should have had her eyes open, too bad so sad.

However, what is worse is that teachers were locked out of their apartments which was resolved eventually. But, even worse, is that teachers who were returning were told 2 days after they were supposed to be there that the contract was not happening and they needed to find a new job. At this late stage that could be very difficult. Thanks McGill... you screwed us over one last time on your way out the door. I hope you grab a conscience and pay us something for this big problem you have caused.
