I am currently researching these two employers. Can anyone do a compare/contrast? Not just salary, but also compound amenities, housing, working conditions, management, work day, etc? I know some of you have worked for both companies, and your comments are especially welcome. |

If you are going to be at Raytheon in Taif then you will be teaching Saudi military, living in a decent villa, and be given a car. You will also have a holiday house in Jeddah that the company provides. This is for use on the weekends or holidays when you want to get away.
Hope that helps.

Yup. But in Taif you'll have to experience the slime-ball Officer Corps. Much better to be teaching the Non-Coms in Jeddah... |

Randall, don't forget to check out Aramco as they are currently direct-hiring. Also consider the benefits of being close to Bahrain with Booz. You know the salaries; about 7k. |

|
|
hi all, been couple years since here.
I had (phone) interview with HR "rachel" at Northrup in Spring & sounded like Nor Grumman would get a MIl-contract for fall.
NGrumann seems very opaque about hiring so I jumped at the BOOZ_HAM application.
Actually spent last 2 of 3 yrs as US reserve officer....hoping seen as a plus.
Hoping for DETAILS of Booz job (seen none) ... & heard that Raytheon worth applying to. Glad to see D-ESL & many you guys still here. thanks

PM me if you want specific info on Raytheon/SALTS. They are not hiring now, BTW. They are all filled up. But there is a high turnover so it doesn't hurt to get your resume in there. |

Both of these employers used to hire ONLY US citizens or US residents. Not sure of latest news though.. |

Booz Allen offers considerably less than this. Raytheon offered about 10k less than this some years ago. Of course, housing, shared car, and other usual benefits are also provided. The primary question in going to Saudi is always, "What's the price of giving up your happiness for the time you are there?" |

How difficult is it to get a job with Raytheon? I am an American with a B.A. in Foreign Languages. I have a TEFL certificate and six years of teaching experience. |
