Hi everyone.
For the past 5 years Ive been searching a job in Japan. I have a BA (hons) TESOL, CELTA andDelta. I have almost 6 years experience and I am 30 years old (Im not an unqualified newbie looking for a year or beer and girls!)

Its my dream to come to Japan but I'm finding it hard to secure a job there. Does anyone have any advice on which job sites are best or which schools I can try, not really set on any particular city.

Thanks,

You just missed the deadline but I suggest the JET Programme. Applications are due around the end of November for the summer intake. I did the full five years of the JET Programme and I got a lot out of it. The JET Programme is particularly useful for you if you are not set on any one city.

I had no geographical preference when I applied and ended up in Shizuoka Prefecture, but I would have been happy with any place.

Plenty of time for you to become familiar with the JET Programme and then put together a killer app. Expect the next application intake to open around mid-September 2014.

Warm regards,

Have you never got any replies from ads from this site?

Hi elliot,

Would you happen to be from a non-native English speaking country? If not then I don't see why employers wouldn't consider your qualifications unless there is more to it that you didn't mention in your OP.
