| What opportunities are there in Chile? Not limited to ESL only, but anything? I will be going with my spouse in February and cannot see me sitting around all day. Thank you in advance. |

| depends on your skills, experience and the region you're moving to. are you fluent in spanish? you'd realistically need strong spanish skills to work in something other than teaching right away. otherwise, you can always get a job in an english institute and network with students. Generally speaking, its all about pitutos (connections) here. a lot of local professionals have a hard time finding a job where they don't have a connection. |
