Hi All,
I'd like to learn your insights on what would the ideal profile be to leap across the Middle East into SE Asia?
I'm interested in a university or college position in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, or other beach accesible destinations. What credentials would make you more marketable? Here's my profile: CELTA, BA, MEd TESOL, and 10 years post-secondary experience (seven in the Middle East).
Thanks! |

Try Singapore. With your quals you should be able to earn around SGD$6000 per month.
Singapore is a short flight away from all the great SE Asian spots, and budget airlines are in abundance. |

Hello there,
WIth your qualifications you might try Brunei. The other SE Asian countries will most likely pay you a local living wage. However you might be lucky and find a full time EFL gig in an international school...although most of them do prefer you have a Masters in Education. Good luck! |
