Hello there, I have been wondering what to do with the two weeks I will have off for 'Winter break' in February. I'm currently living near Krakow and there's a route from Katowice to Tel Aviv. Would anyone recommend coming at that time of year? I realise Tel Aviv will be at it's coldest, but will the place be empty and unappealing?
Does anyone have any suggestions regarding where to visit in Tel Aviv and nearby?
Hopefully there are a few people living in Israel that occasionally look at this board. It does seem quite dead!
Thanks in advance for any advice/opinions! |

This forum doesn't get much attention. Instead, try travel-related sites like Lonely Planet, Trip Advisor, and Virtual Tourist. |

Lonely Planet Thorntree is the discussion board to hit... teachers in the Middle East don't visit Israel, for the obvious reasons.
