Hi all,
I'm curious to know under what conditions an employment visa would be cancelled by an employer? I'm talking about a cancellation that occurs before the beginning of employment and not one that occurs after the 3 month probation period.
Your thoughts? |

You didn't provide enough info, but I'd guess there was something either in your academic record, criminal background report, references, passport (i.e., Israeli stamp), or medical report that triggered the cancellation. Or perhaps it's due to the company's nitaqat status.
Seriously, only your employer knows the reason, so you might direct your questions to them. Anyway, if the employer still intends to bring you over, it's likely they'll try to do so on a business visit visa, which offers another set of issues for you. |

If it's KAU (the OP had applied a very short time ago) and if they took the time to nix the visa process, it must have been for a strong enough reason for the unit to be that proactive. I know all the guys in the unit that manage the paperwork and 99% of the time they react (sometimes very slowly) to things. If they sent an email to the embassy, something must have caused it and for good cause (not that I'm saying anything negative about the OP).
Those are just "my thoughts". |

Thanks for both of your insights. I guess the only thing to do is wait for clarification.
What's strange is I have yet to submit all of my paperwork which makes this all the more confusing for me. Up until now, all the information I've received has been quite clear and straightforward. |

I suspect what you've submitted so far to the employer very likely points to the problem. |
