Laureate Education is terrible.

MOD edit

Rabigh is in the middle of nowhere; there isn't even a real grocery store.

I too did an interview with a teaching supervisor for a position at Laureate in Rabigh. I've already been told "it's not like Riyadh" (which may be a good thing)-no malls, etc. I was very impressed with this woman and everything she told me contradicted what's said on here in terms of teacher treatment and respect.

She didn't give me exact course loads, but the initial advert states 25 hours and additional as needed.

Interesting to note that some posters state they had to pay for iqama expenses. That's a real deal breaker for me, as is returning to US. I really need a well paying job and am hoping I can make this work for me.

Has anybody gone to Rabigh and what is the housing like?

Iqama is 500 SR. There may be costs for a medical and some photographs. Labour Code says that the employer is responsible for paying the costs.

500 SR isn't too bad, but the medical costs are insane in US (about $1,000). Thanks for the info.
