Hi all,
I am getting ready to apply to teach abroad. I have some limited teaching experience and am hoping to get a teaching certificate before I go or get the certificate at the location.
That being said, when is the best time to apply to teaching jobs if you're interested in teaching in Asia, Europe, or South America? Is it different for all? Europe is my preference, but I realize that I have a better chance in Asia considering my limited experience.
I have seen opportunities where I can teach youngsters and adults. If I want that kind of flexibility, would that change when I can apply?
Basically, I may have to stay in the U.S. (where I'm from) until August and I am wondering if most places are hiring in May (as it appears on this site). |

Again, assuming you are a US citizen, your opportunities in Europe are limited to Central/Eastern Europe. Western Europe is not a legal option for US citizens.
Jobs in this region are usually September - June, with little work in July/August.
Why do I feel as though I'm repeating myself here.....deja vu?????????????
