I applied for a job on tefl.com, advertised as Head of English for LSC (London School of Commerce.) I've received an email inviting me for an interview but the email address ends: sbllondon.co.uk
I googled and found this website: http://www.sbllondon.co.uk/

I'm rather dubious, especially as they're advertising under LSC. Has anyone ever heard of or worked for this school? I searched the forum but couldn't find anything so any input is much appreciated, thanks.

Looks like a classy joint. ... the sort of place that could feature in Panorama's follow up documentary about visa fraud ..

I'd have to agree, the website seems fishy..

Anyway, the plot thickens as I questioned why his email is sbllondon.co.uk and not LSC. I also asked who the potential employer is. The reply I got is that they have 2 colleges: LSC and School of Business and Law and that they are both owned by the LSC group, the employer is apparently LSC.

I've delved deeper online and discovered that School of Business and Law is in fact an umbrella company of the LSC group. Does anyone know anything about them?

Hmm, a foreign-owned college operating under different names, and with a very dodgy-looking website.

Is this a proverbial 'no-brainer' or what?
