Hi there.
Just hoping to get some recommendations for countries/jobs for someone with a master's degree in tesol and 3 years of teaching experience.
I'd love to work at a university. Any other countries in Asia that have uni positions for MA holder, with salaries close to those in Korea or Japan?

Hello there,

Try Brunei or Malaysia as those countries place higher value on those with post graduate qualifications in TESOL. Good luck!

Are you a U.S. citizen? Give the English Language Fellowship from the U.S. Department of State a look. If you apply, consider East Asia, Central Asia, and/or South Asia.

The pay is indeed pretty good. That is just the stipend. Fellows also get money for monthly living expenses.

Fellows have received USD 25K annually and Senior Fellows have received USD 35K annually but they are doing away with this dichotomy starting in the 2014-2015 academic year. There will only be Fellows and they will get 30K.

Warm regards,
