I am considering moving to the Middle East to teach. I have a BS in Sociology with a concentration in Spanish, Master in Nonprofit Management, TESL certification, and 3 years of teaching experience (adults).

I am 32 and considering completing a MA in Applied Linguistics (TESOL) before going to the Middle East. I will be taking 2 children with me.

What are my options? Would I be considered to old?

Your age isn't an issue, but your situation as a single mother is likely to be. Consider the following threads:

Thank you. What are your thoughts on obtaining the MA in Applied linguistics (TESOL)? Apply now or wait until I have obtained the MA?

The only Mid East jobs you'd currently qualify for is with Saudi contracting companies and very likely on a single status visa which equates to not being able to sponsor your children. Best to get a TEFL-related MA first and post-degree teaching experience. However, do read those threads thoroughly because the scenario you're envisioning for you and your two dependent children may be a tough one to make into reality.

Thank you. I agree, it will probably be in my best interest to go with the MA so that I qualify for more than KSA. As far as taking the children I already have notorized paper work from the other parent giving me permission to sponsor the children in UAE, KSA, Oman, Qatar, all Islamic countries, all Middle Eastern countries and all countries around the world (worded just like that). With that being said, I am still no longer interested in KSA because I am sure that there will be some bureaucracy, red tape, etc, etc.

I really appreciate your advice!

If possible, I would suggest trying to get IEP experience while you are getting the MA - and perfect situation would a couple years in one after completion of the MA. That way your experience will match what the universities around the Middle East are looking for...

Be aware that life is VERY DIFFICULT for single mothers in these areas.
